En. Jay

Title : Jay portrait

Description : Satu-satunya teman baik yang terima saya seadanya. Dan sentiasa memberi semangat dan galakan. Lukisan ini terhasil masa tengah boring-boring, takde tugasan kat opis... Hihihi... Kami berdua bertukar-tukar lukisan. Sebab masing-masing tengah boring kat dalam opis... Hahah... Cuba memenuhi masa dengan melakukan aktiviti yang berfaedah (Yeke?). Dah lama sangat tak melukis. Sekurang-kurangnya dapat jugak la lembutkan tangan semula. Asah balik pensel yangg dah tumpul!

Welcome to my hair salon!

Title : Future Hair Salon
Medium : Artline pens (doodle)
Software : Paint Tool SAI ( the portrait )
Hehehe...

Jangan berhenti berdoa

Title : Doa
Medium : Artline pen 6.0, 0.2
Background : Artwork inspired by Sarah Joan. Selepas melihat doodle yang dihasilkan, saya rasa kagum. Dan membuatkan saya nak buat sesuatu seperti yang hasilkannya. Tentu sekali tak sehebat Sarah. Tapi saya nak cuba! Doodle yang random... Cuma saya nak gambarkan dalam bentuk islamik. Watak pakai tudung sedang berdoa... Jangan berhenti berdoa, sesungguhnya Allah sayang hambanya yang sentiasa meminta pertolonganNya...

Black & White Portraiture

Have you ever done a thing like take a picture with SLR manual camera on your own? Print Black and White photo on your own manually? Talk about manual... I repeat, MANUAL! Yes... Have you? I have! Hihihi...

See what I have here... ;)

Title: Black & White Portraiture
Tools : Yashica SLR manual camera, Kodak Black & White Film
Background : This is a portrait of a friend that I took for my assignment. I need a happy expression, and she done it very well! I love how she smile, nice pose!

*This photo is in original form, not edited... It was scanned and directly embedded it to this entry.

There are procedures for print this photo. You need a Dark Room, Black & White photo papers, Enlarger and some chemicals for printing printing process, while you need a tank, Film roller and the chemicals for developing films. What chemicals do we need?

  1. D76 : For developing films only
  2. Fixer : For developing films and printing process
  3. Dektol : For printing process only.
  4. Water ( This is sooo not chemical! Hahaha ) : For developing film and printing process.

What's this???

This is called contact print. contact print is a photographic image produced from film: sometimes from a film negative; sometimes from a film positive. The defining characteristic of a contact print is that the photographic result is made by exposing through the film negative or positive onto a light sensitive material that is pressed tightly to the film.

In the dark, or under a safe light, an exposed and developed piece of photographic film is placed emulsion side down, against a piece of photographic paper. Light is briefly shone through the negative. Then, the paper is developed into a contact print. The image in the emulsion has been pressed as close as possible to the photosensitive paper. An exposure box device called a contact printer or a printing frame is sometimes used within a light-controlled space called a darkroom. Enlargers can also be used for this process

So, that's it. A bit information about photography.

P/s: If you may noticed, the 'mark' that you can see in the contact print photo is done by lecturer. It shows  that the picture was chosen by my lecturer.  ^^

Felis Domestica... Domestic Cat...

This is the beginning... May I present something new from me... Drum-roll please....

Tarraaa...!!

What is so special about this picture? Ermmm... Wait, before I forget..... As usual...

TITLE: Felis Domestica
MEDIA: Charcoal
BACKGROUND: Hey, You know what? This is an Illustration of the domestic cat that I drew a few days ago for my assignment... The special thing is, this was my first time using charcoal as a media... Hehe... Before this, I did not even dream of holding charcoal or draw using charcoal... Because I always think that the medium is really hard to control and a bit messy as it is also easily break and tend to smudge. Hihihi... Actually, is not that bad... I enjoy doing something new... And also, I like cats so much... It's some kind of inspiration for me to keep draw and make it as an illustration. Please keep do the right things! :)

Animal portrait...

TITLE: Pak Belang Portrait
MEDIA: Chinese Ink and Brushes
BACKGROUND: Wow, I guess this is my first time converted the animal photo into an illustration...  Quite interesting experience... Somehow, I felt like I have no confidence to draw and Illustrate it at the beginning, because I only familiar with human portrait or human figure. It is kinda hard, but I have to try for doing something different... (Conteng-conteng kartun binatang tu dah biasalah!... ^^)... And I did it well! Comment if u agree, and tell me if there is anything else I have to learn... :)

Cross Hatch and Wash techniques

TITLE: Portrait
MEDIA: Drawing Pens, Marker Pen.
BACKGROUND: Learn cross hatch technique and apply it on a portrait of Ana Rafalei... I hate doing cross hatching... Maybe I should learn to make my hand soften a little bit more... >_<

TITLE: Portrait
MEDIA: Chinese ink and brushes
BACKGROUND: Same portrait, but applied different techniques and media. This is called 'Wash Technique' using Chinese Ink and brushes... My Lecturer seems to like my work... He said that my Illustration was the best work so far (Among others, which is my classmates)... ^^v Hope I can Illustrate it better next time since this is my first attempt using wash technique...
